Have We Lost Sight?
The billboard speaks the truth doesn't it? Something we know, not simply because we see it, but because God predicted it.
We have been told, and therefore we Christians are without excuse. It is our duty to see that we are not part of the problem, but part of the cure.
"Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter." (Isaiah 5:20)
"This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away." (2 Tim 3:1-5)
We are told to turn away! While they may profess any of these in the name of religion, they miss the point, entirely. We are not to do what these sinful people do.
