God, Number-1
5 You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. 6 And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart.
7 You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise. - Deuteronomy 6:5-7
These famous words were an important part of the instructions God gave to the Israelites through Moses. They stress the importance of teaching and learning about God and putting God number one on your priority list. If you'll notice carefully, these instructions are for both adults and children. Today is a great day to rededicate yourself to the personal study of scripture as well as attending each and every worship service, Bible class, and meeting that is offered.
If you are out of the habit of attending every time the doors are open, then today is a great day 'start over'.
Classes begin at 9:30am and worship is at 10:30am and again at 5:00pm this evening. See you there as we love, learn, and worship together!
